'Swastya' a Rural Camp was hosted by the PG & Research Department of Social Work of Sree Narayana Guru College, Coimbatore. Dr. I. Maria Yesuraja, Head of Department of Social Work delivered the welcome address.
Babida. A. K, Panchayath President, Kozhinjampara Panchayath presided over the function. Rev. Fr. Prince Robert, Director, Sulthanpet Multipurpose Social Service Society, Kanjikode was the Chief Guest of this programme. Special address was delivered by Sub inspector A. Venugopalan, of Kozhinjampara police station. A. Bellaro John Regan, in his address, explained the objectives of the rural camp.
Rev. Fr. Silvester, Parish Priest, Palaniyarpalayam, Benshi Asad, 18th ward member, Kozhinjampara, Dominic, High School Assistant and C. S. Nikhitha, Assistant Professor also participated in this inauguration ceremony.
Annie S. Babu, first year student of MSW was coordinator for the rural camp, proposed the vote of thanks.
