'Speak less than required and observe more' DGP C. Sylendra Babu inspires students at TNAU interaction

According to the DGP there are four kinds of significant “languages”, such as Native language, English language, Computer language (knowledge of the upgrading technology) and Body language.



Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Director General of Police C. Sylendra Babu IPS took part in a Students Interactive session at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) on Saturday and inspired the student community with his practical tips to come up and achieve in life.

The DGP, who is in the city to supervise security measures in view of the visit of President Draupadi Murmu to take part in Shivratri 2023 celebrations at the Isha Yoga Centre interacted with the students.



During the session, he lauded the milestone achievements of TNAU in creating a revolution in the country's agriculture sector and encouraged them to pursue the path of remarkable endeavours in future.

Stressing upon the role of science and the need for each of the students to update themselves on scientific matters, he said Climate Change is a hot topic around the globe, and scientific investigations have propelled humanity to obtain solutions for global warming.

"I've received more than one lakh letters from students and each of them holds a different story. There's no boundary for achievement but it all begins with self-interest and involvement. Unless one has a goal or an aim, moving further to greater heights isn't possible. Each of you must identify a goal" the DGP noted.

Also stressing on the significance of communication as it is vital for connecting with people and maintaining good communication is equally essential he said that to express oneself and showcase academic knowledge communication holds the key.



According to him, there are four significant languages as Native language, English language, Computer language (knowledge of the upgrading technology) and Body language.

“There are fundamentals in the personality development of an individual. Subsequently, banishing fear and volunteering to take up responsibilities is a sign of strength. Other traits include curiosity, questioning, good listening, focus, discipline, planning and training oneself for the destination” Sylendra Babu, who is known for inspiring young minds noted.

"Speak less than necessary. Identify the meaning and purpose of life", he noted.

Later Dr V.Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU said that “ TNAU has planned to establish a civil service coaching centre and it will receive applications by March 2023.

“It is open to everyone free of cost and plans to function from 5.30 to 8.30, with the best of trainers” the VC noted.
