Tamil Makkal Munnani demands action against the sale of TASMAC liquor in the black market in the city

The cadres of Tamil Makkal Munnani submitted a petition to the collector demanding appropriate action against those selling liquor in the black market in the city at all hours.


Coimbatore: Tamil Makkal Munnani led by Western zone convener Rajan, submitted a petition to the Collector demanding that the Tamil Nadu Government implement a total prohibition in the state, and take action against those selling liquor at exorbitant prices in the black market in various places in the city.



He said that “if the youth and students are to progress in Tamil Nadu, total prohibition should be implemented and steps should be taken to prevent the sale of drugs in front educational institutions in Tamil Nadu”.

Rajan also said that the sale of liquor is going on at all hours in the city, in the black market which should be controlled by the concerned authorities.



Slogans were raised against the illicit sale of liquor by the cadres in the Collectorate campus.
