Anti-drug awareness camp at Mulanur Government School near Dharapuram

In a drug prevention awareness camp conducted by the Taluk Legal Services Committee at Mulanur Government Higher Secondary School next to Dharapuram, the students were given instructions on the ill-effects of drug addiction.


Tirupur: Students enthusiastically participated in an anti-drug awareness camp held at a government school near Dharapuram in Tirupur district.



A drug awareness camp was organized by the Taluk Legal Services Committee at Mulanur Government Higher Secondary School near Dharapuram. The camp was presided over by Dharma Prabhu, Chairman, Dharapuram Taluk Legal Services Committee and Sub Judge.

Dharapuram Bar Association President Kalaichezhiyan, Secretary Rajendran, Advocate Chitra, Mulanoor Police Inspector Nachimuthu, Mulanoor Government Hospital Doctor and others were present on the occasion.



In this event, students will be briefed on the consequences of drug addiction and how it degrades the society. It was advised to get rid of bad habits by inculcating the habit of playing games, painting, reading books, etc. to get rid of the addiction. At that time, the doubts of the students were explained properly.

Students were also briefed on the activities of the Dharapuram Taluk Legal Services Committee. Prizes were also distributed to the students who answered the questions asked. Balasubramanian, assistant headmaster of the school, welcomed everyone and led the camp.
