Burglars loot five shops in a serial break-in committed on the same night in Tirupur

Police have registered a case and are on the lookout for burglars, who broke open five shops in the KVR Nagar area near Tirupur.


Tirupur: Tirupur In a shocking incident, five shops were looted by unidentified burglars on the same night near Tirupur.

Thirumalai Complex is a commercial complex with six shops on the Western Main Road in the KVR Nagar area of Tirupur city.

There are five shops including a grocery shop, a cloth shop, a fancy shop, an e-service centre and a hair salon in the complex. Last night, burglars broke open the locks of these five shops and looted the cash kept in the shop.



While the burglars took and ate chocolates from the shop, they also defecated outside the shop. Based on a complaint lodged by the shop owners, the Tirupur Central Police Station police have registered a case and are investigating the serial break-ins.



The daring burglary was committed a stone’s throw away from where the Central Police Station is located, which shocked the Tirupur denizens.
