Coimbatore: National Intelligence Agency (NIA) has so far arrested 11 terror suspects in connection with the Coimbatore car bomb blast case.

Meanwhile, an application was filed in the NIA court at Poonamallee in Chennai for police custody of the five terror suspects including Mohammad Azharuddin, Feroz Ismail, Nawaz Ismail, Umar Farooq and Feroz Khan, who were arrested in connection with the Coimbatore car bomb blast case.
Hearing the petition, the Judge granted permission to the NIA to interrogate the five in custody for seven days.
Following this, the NIA officials brought Feroze, Umar Farooq, Azharuddin and others to Coimbatore and are interrogating them at the Police Training school premises.
According to NIA officials, they are being interrogated on the basis of documents and materials seized earlier in the car bomb blast case.
