Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati inspected the solid waste management compost plant constructed at a cost of Rs 69 lakh in corporation east zone.
Coimbatore: The District Collector reviewed the ongoing development works in the areas under Sulur Panchayat Union.
Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi kumar Pati inspected various development projects in Pattinam and Peedampalli areas of Sulur Panchayat Union.

Accordingly, he personally inspected the solid waste management compost plant constructed at a cost of Rs 69 lakh in coimbatore corporation east zone and enquired about the method of garbage extraction and compost preparation.
Subsequently, he visited the two-storied school classroom building being constructed at a cost of Rs 4 lakh with community participation at the Government High School, Pattinam, and additional class room buildings being constructed at a cost of about Rs 30 lakh in the ZP Primary School.

He also enquired from the children about the learning skills of the school children under the Counting and Writing programme at pattinam primary school.

Subsequently, he distributed agricultural implements to the beneficiaries under Kalaignar's All Village Integrated Agriculture Development Scheme.
He visited the onion storage godown set up by the National Horticulture Mission at a subsidy of Rs 87,500 and enquired about its benefits from the farmers.

Subsequently, makkalai thedi maruthuvam at the Primary Health Centre in Peedampalli Panchayat and enquired about the functioning of the medical scheme from the staff working there and ordered them to provide timely medical services to the beneficiaries at the earliest.
Subsequently, construction of cement concrete floor from Pappampatti Main Road to Lucky Garden at a cost of Rs.3.60 lakhs under The All India Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam. He also inspected the construction of a 20-acre miyawaki-style dense forest with herbal trees on ammankulam temple land.
