P.S. Chauhan to take charge as CRPF commander at the CRPF training college located at Thopampatti


 CRPF IG P.S. Chauhan will take charge in as the CRPF commander at the CRPF training college located at Thopampatti, Coimbatore. Earlier he was stationed at the training center located in Mount Abu. 

P.S. Chauhan, hails from Jodhpur in Rajasthan. In 1984 he joined CRPF as a gazetted officer. He secured a gold medal in BA (Hons) and pursued political science from the Jodhpur University. Having worked at Punjab, Assam. Arunachal Pradesh, Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, P.S. Chauhan has been awarded the presidential medal for his achievements, in Jan 2009. He is also the recipient of Police medal and a medal for internal security.

In the past, he has worked in many training centers across India and has acquired special skills training from several army training centers in India and abroad.
