Two decorative green elephants to greet participants in the TN Forest Department office in Vadakovai

The eye-catching Male and female elephant models are being prepared with green mats.


Coimbatore: The façade of the Tamil Nadu Forest Department office, situated in Vadakovai in Mettupalayam Road is to provide an ornamental welcome through two- green elephants to the visitors.

According to sources, a special conclave on elephants is scheduled to be conducted in April in City for which the office infrastructure is being renovated and two decorative elephant models are being established to decorate the façade of the building.



The eye-catching Male and female elephant models are being prepared with green mats.

Reportedly this is to provide an adorning and green welcome to the participants of the meeting.

Subsequently, the Forest department has decided to announce the elephant models as a ‘Selfie’ spot for the participants and visitors too.

The models are initially structured using cardboard on which the green mats are pasted to provide a lively and lush appearance.
