Inspection of development project works in Udumalpet - Minister M.P.Saminathan

A review meeting on the development works being carried out in Udumalpet and surrounding villages was held at Udumalpet under the chairmanship of Minister M.P. Saminathan.



Tirupur: A review meeting was held at Udumalpet on the ongoing development projects in Udumalpet and Madathukulam Panchayat Unions, Thali, Madathukulam, Kaniyur, Komaralingam and Sankaramanallur Town Panchayats in Tirupur district.



Minister Saminathan presided over the function. District Collector Vineeth presided over the function.

It was instructed that the officers of all the departments should complete the development works in rural and urban areas at the earliest and put them to public use. Subsequently, cheques for loans worth Rs 16.75 lakh were issued to 11 women Self Help Groups.



Later, an exhibition on the welfare schemes put forward by various departments was held by Minister M.P. Saminathan visited.



The review meeting was attended by revenue department officials, DMK union officials, panchayat presidents, town panchayat presidents, panchayat presidents and the general public.
