Coimbatore: Actress Gauthami participated in the G-20 summit held at Kuniyamuthur in Coimbatore.

Actress Gauthami participated in the G-20 conclave at Kuniyamuthur in Coimbatore and addressed the youth.

She later told reporters:

It is an honour for our nation that the G20 summit is being held in India. Coimbatore has now received this honour and recognition. Union Minister of State L Murugan and the Governor of Tamil Nadu have highlighted how important and necessary the future of the youth of our nation is not only for the nation but also for the development of the world.

The upcoming shows on the G20 will have even more highlights. It will also be a necessary event for everyone. We have to see what we can take away from the G20. Selfishness is for our good, and we have to take from this what we can accomplish so that we can live with our heads held high and proud.

GST is an example on a global scale. We should not bring political talk back into it, that is very good for the nation. The Tamil Nadu government has now announced that it will give Rs 1,000 per month to housewives. "I will welcome whoever does good to the people and be it government or politics, that should be the sole objective.

Replying to a question on the rise in gas prices, "This is not a one-word answer, it's a combination of various things that are happening on a global scale," she said.
