Rs 190 crore 25 MW solar power project near Dharapuram - Inaugurated by ministers

A 110/33 kW private substation set up on 110 acres of land at Vadugapatti near Dharapuram at a cost of Rs 190 crore by a Coimbatore-based private company. Ministers M P Saminathan and Kayalvizhi inaugurated the 25 MW solar power project.


Tirupur: Ministers M P Swaminathan and Kayalvizhi Selvaraj inaugurated a 25 MW solar power project at a cost of Rs 190 crore near Dharapuram.

A 110/33 kW private sector substation and a 25 MW solar power plant have been set up on 110 acres of land at Vadukapatti in Kumarapalayam panchayat near Dharapuram in Tiruppur district at a cost of Rs 190 crore by Coimbatore-based power company Natrinai Ventures.



Information Minister M P Saminathan and Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj were present at the inauguration ceremony.



Coimbatore Regional Electricity Board Chief Engineer Vinodan, Tiruppur Corporation 4th Zone President Padmanabhan, Indian Wind Power Producers Association President Kasturirangan and a large number of entrepreneurs were present on the occasion.
