Tamilnadu Vanigar Sangam Peramaippu appeals to PMK leader Ramadass to give up campaign to erase name boards which are not in Tamil

We will send a circular all the traders requesting them to put up name boards in Tamil language”.

Coimbatore: Vikramarajah President of Tamilnadu Vanigar Sangam Peramaippu has appealed to Pattali Makkal Katchi founder Ramadas to avoid his campaign to deface signboards of shops which are not in Tamil.

Addressing reporters after participating in the special meeting of traders in the city he said.

“Lakhs of traders will be participating in the Traders' Rights Conference which will be held in Erode on May 5," he said and added "that all state leaders and state ministers will participate in the conference. Food Standards Act should be for one year and demands, including simplification of GST, will be reiterated through the conference”.

On April 18, we will meet Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister Piyush Goyal in New Delhi and submit a petition. The government appears to support the corporate sector which is deceiving the traders with the MRP.

Vikramaraja further added that “Online gambling should be banned. Online trading should be regulated. We will send a circular all the traders requesting them to put up name boards in the Tamil language”.
