Students attacked for attending RSS classes in Coimbatore - Hindu organisations gathered in numbers

In Coimbatore, Hindu Munnani and BJP activists gathered in front of a police station on Variety Hall Road, alleging that a Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader used abusive language and assaulted children who had gone to a class run by the RSS.


Coimbatore: Hindu activists gathered at the police station in Coimbatore on Monday alleging that they were attacked by children who had gone to a class organised by the RSS.

The sons of Hindu Munnani and BJP leaders had gone to attend a class organised by the RSS at M.N.K. Street in Coimbatore.

A communist party leader, who arrived at the spot, allegedly abused the boys and assaulted them.



On hearing this, the office bearers of hindu munnani, BJP and other organisations gathered in front of the police station on Variety Hall Road. They demanded action against the man. This created a stir there.



Coimbatore City Deputy Commissioner Sandeesh and police rushed to the spot and held talks with the office bearers of the Hindu outfit.

At that time, they assured that a proper investigation would be conducted and appropriate action would be taken against the person concerned. They accepted it and dispersed from there.The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
