Will a member of the Scheduled Castes be appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister to at least partially achieve social justice? Or will the Chief minister appointmembers of scheduled castes and scheduled tribes to be ministers of the most crucial agencies, such as home, finance, revenue, industries, public works, etc.? MLA Vanathi Srinivasan, questioned.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan has reacted to comments made by Chief Minister M. K. Stalin at the All India Social Justice Federation (AICFI) conference, which was hosted by the DMK on April 3. Stalin made disparaging remarks about social justice and the federal government.
MLA Vanathi Srinivasan said the following in a statement, “The All India Social Justice Federation (AICJF) conference was hosted by the DMK on April 3, and participants included leaders of the Congress, Cpi(M), Communist Party of India (Marxist), Communist Party of India (Marxist), Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal, Aam Aadmi Party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Bharat Rashtra Samiti, and National Conference.
The DMK president and Chief Minister M. K. Stalin gave a speech to the meeting via video conferencing and discussed social justice. "We are unified because we have an obligation to defend social fairness. Depending on who employs the social justice philosophy for what goal, it will either succeed or fail. When Anna, the DMK president and chief minister of Tamil Nadu, passed away in 1969, Karunanidhi took over as chief minister.
He subsequently became the DMK president. He was the DMK head in 2018, half a century after Karunanidhi's passing. No one else has been given a chance to run for head of the DMK in 49 years. Even expelled DMK member MGR, who prevented the DMK from gaining control, did not challenge Karunanidhi's direction.
Because he had come to run for his son Stalin, Vaiko was also removed from the DMK.
Stalin took over as DMK head after his father Karunanidhi passed away. No other candidate has put in a nomination for the position even formally in the past fifty years. When Stalin claimed that Muthuvel Karunanidhi was Stalin, he also became chief minister.
His son Udhayanidhi was abruptly appointed the head of the DMK's youth section after the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, forced to run in the 2021 assembly elections, and is currently serving as a minister.
The ministers themselves declare that they will back both Udhayanidhi and his son Inbanidhi because the DMK has become so entangled in the control of one family. Is the DMK using the term "social justice" to set up the father, son, grandson, and great-grandson and deny other worthy people the party leadership and administrative leadership positions? Can the DMK lead a political organisation with the name THE DMK, and if the DMK wins the election, could someone who is not a member of the Karunanidhi family one day become the chief minister if the DMK wins the election?
The positions of chief minister and DMK president have merged into one household. Will the DMK, which oversees the All India Federation of Social Justice federations, select a member of a scheduled caste as the deputy chief minister to at least partially enact social justice? Alternatively, as directors of the most crucial agencies, such as those in charge of housing, finances, taxation, business, and public works. Will MK Stalin choose to employ him? What is the reason behind the dmk's hesitation to put this into action despite the possibility?
The DMK has stated that his son Udhayanidhi, who is currently a minister, has the right to become deputy chief minister whenever he wants. Stalin ought to have someone from the Scheduled Caste take his son's place in the Assembly. Indeed, that may be societal justice. "If a person from the Scheduled Caste is made deputy chief minister and then speaks about social justice, I am ready to go home and applaud Stalin," said one person. "Social justice will not be accomplished only by chanting "Social Justice" and "Social Justice" on every available platform."Supporting those who have been ignored in society and in the classroom is the goal of social justice.
However, the Constitution was changed by the BJP-led administration at the centre to grant 10% reservation to lower caste poor. If you're struggling financially, it ought to be everyone else's. What is upper caste The poor?" questioned Stalin. No higher caste poor people are included in the 10% reservation. pertaining to regions with a poorer economy (EWS). Benefits will accrue to the neighborhood's poor people who do not come under the purview of the reservation. He does not serve the position of chief minister well by concealing this and coming out for political reasons.
Social justice includes women's rights as a fundamental component. This has been stated frequently by Stalin himself. In spite of this, he has appointed his son a minister and left his daughter out of dynastic politics. Giving those who have been denied or are not receiving chances is the core concept of social justice. The Chief Minister ought to discuss social fairness after completing that.
