Coimbatore: Two people, Mohan Kumar and his mother Mani, both of Dasanoor in Mettupalayam, have been detained in connection with a case of defrauding people out of Rs 36 lakh under the pretence of obtaining them jobs as administrative wing officers at the Coimbatore district collectorate.

The two were presented in court and jailed.Additionally, they have created fake work orders and given them to the moneylenders. It wasn't until it was delivered to the Collector's office in Coimbatore that it was discovered that it was a bogus order.
