Chairman of the Udumalaipettai Taluk Legal Services Committee and Sub-Judge Manikandan presided over the event.
On the occasion, he emphasised the sufferings caused by tobacco and narcotics and urged people to abstain from them in order to live a healthy life.
Judge Balamurugan of the District Munsif Court, Judge Vijayakumar of the Udumalaipettai Judicial Magistrate Court, and Judge Meenakshi of the Udumalaipettai Judicial Magistrate Court were also present.
On the occasion, Srimitra and Surya delivered a message to the audience on the dangers of smoke and drugs. Lawyers and those in attendance were given mementos.
