A man who threatens and extorts money from others lodges a complaint with the Tirupur district SP

The public petitioned the district superintendent of police's office, requesting action against Dinesh, who was extorting money from the people in Tirupur's Kanakampalayam region.


Tirupur: A complaint has been filed with the District SP, requesting that action be taken against a person who is extorting money from members of the public near Tirupur.

For more than 30 years, a huge number of families have lived in the Kanakampalayam area of Tirupur district.

Karuppannasamy alias Dinesh, a resident of the same area, is accused of extorting money over the phone and in person for the past few years, knowing the weaknesses of the families in Kanakampalayam.

He has also filed a complaint with the police, alleging that people who fail to pay the money are selling ganja and threatening to kill them, threatening to arrest him or throw a petrol bomb at his house.

According to reports, residents of the area filed a complaint with the Perumanallur police station, but no action was taken.

In this situation, the people of Kanakampalayam, who had registered a complaint with the District Superintendent of Police, begged him to take proper action on the issue and secure their safety.
