The 133rd birth anniversary of B.R. Ambedkar was celebrated on 14.04.2023 at Coimbatore Vadakovai FCI in the Godown campus. The Odukkapattor Vazhvurimai Iyakkam decorated Ambedkar's statue.

The event was presided over by Odukkapattor District President Vazhvurimai Iyakkam B. Murugan. M.Arumugam, State Treasurer of the Communist Party of India, District Secretary

C.Sivasamy, Odukkapattor Vazhvurimai Iyakkam, and a few other CPI delegates attended the ceremony.

Meanwhile, the state treasurer of the Odukkapattor Vazhvurimai Iyakkam, Advocate K. Subramaniam, stated, "After independence, Ambedkar headed a committee formed for the establishment

of the country's constitution." On November 26, 1949, he drafted the constitutional report and handed it to the political leaders."

A day before that, on November 25, Ambedkar's speech in the same assembly about the Constitution was critical and foreshadowed future events.

On that day, he stated, "The current constitution specifies that all of the country's natural resources should be used for the benefit of the public." No matter what the constitution says,

if future governments refuse, natural resources and public property cannot be safeguarded.

Dr. Ambedkar predicted in 1949 that "if the country's democracy does not destroy the Sanatana system that follows caste inequalities in the future, the constitution we have established will

be in jeopardy."Advocate K. Subramaniam emphasised that people must resolve to fighting together against Sanatana dharma, which is a threat to democracy.
