25-year-old stabbed to death by unidentified persons near Selvapuram

The murder took place near the TASMAC liquor shop. Selvapuram police have registered a case and are investigating the incident


Coimbatore: A 25-year-old youth, Rahamatullah, was stabbed to death by unidentified persons near Selvapuram. The youth who belongs to Kuniamuthur was talking with his friends near a TASMAC outlet when he came under a knife attack.

Rahamatullah, who was admitted to a CMCH in the city, succumbed to his stab injuries.



According to sources, he went to Thillai Nagar in Selvapuram with a friend of his and at around 11.30 am, some persons who pursued him stabbed him to death.

The murder which took place near the TASMAC liquor shop in broad day light has raised many questions. Selvapuram police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
