Coimbatore private firm loses money: Employee arrested by Police!

Police have arrested Albert Raj, an employee of a private firm in Nallampalayam area of Coimbatore, for stealing money from him. Rs 6.50 lakh in cash and a hard disk were also seized from him.


Coimbatore: Rajasimha, a resident of Coimbatore's Thudiyalur police station area, owns a private firm in the Nallampalayam region.

On April 13, Rajasimha locked Rs 6,50,000 in cash in a box and went home to pay the salaries of her company's employees.

When he returned on the 14th, he discovered that the money in the box had been stolen. In this context, a case was opened based on a complaint he filed at the Thudiyalur police station. A special team led by Thudiyalur police inspector Gnanasekaran was created on the directions of Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police Badrinarayanan to trace the culprit and recover the money.

Albert Raj, an employee of the same company, was found to have stolen the money. Following this, Albert Raj was arrested by the special cell. Police seized Rs 6,50,000 and a TVR hard disk from him and produced them in court and lodged them in coimbatore central jail.
