A complaint has been lodged with the Tirupur North police station along with fellow lawyers for allegedly contacting anand, a lawyer from Convent Garden area of Tirupur, through a WhatsApp call and threatening to kill him asking him not to appear in a particular case.
Tirupur: A case has been filed at the North police station against a man who threatened to kill a young lawyer through WhatsApp in Tirupur.
Anand alias Balasubramani is a young lawyer from Tirupur's Covent Garden neighborhood. He is a young lawyer practising in the Tirupur court. He was on his way home last night when he received a WhatsApp voice message.
There was a death threat in it for making derogatory remarks about Anand and his family. The mobile was switched off when the number was dialled.
After some time, a man with the same phone number called him on WhatsApp and threatened to kill him in court if he did not show.. The switch was switched off when contacted by the number.
After some time , a man with the same contact number called him on whatsapp and threatened to kill him if he did not attend in a specific case.
