Education and health care should be provided free, one of the resolutions passed at All India Youth Federation (AIYF) meet

The first east zone meeting of All India Youth Federation (AIYF) was held in the hall located in Sakkarai Chettiyar Nagar in Singanallur in the city. Praveen hoisted the flag.

S.Arumugam, K.C.Murthy, R. Jeevabharathi presided over the function. G.P Sakthivel welcomed the gathering. K. Purusothaman and Vasanthakumar delivered the special address. S. Balachandran, P. Murugan, V. Jeevanandahmn Sa. Poornima Nandhini also addressed the gathering.



Office bearers were selected during this meeting. R. Prakash was selected as president, S. Arumugam was selected as secretary, and M. Manikandan was selected as treasurer.  Sa. Poornima, Nandhini, J. Stalin and V Nagaraj were selected as vice presidents. M. Veeraseenu, K. Kalidas, A. Vijayakumar were selected as deputy secretaries.

During this meeting it was decided that steps will be taken to ensure that education and health care is provided at free of cost to everyone. NEET examination should be cancelled. Subways should be constructed at Hopes college, Singanallur and Ondipudur.



A sports complex with all the facilities and a park should be established in the east zone of Coimbatore corporation. The works on the SIHS rail over bridge should be completed were the other resolutions that were passed during this meeting.
