Tamil Nadu class 12 results 2023: 94.03 per cent students pass

The results of the tamil nadu class 12 board exams have been released today. School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi released the results at the Anna Library in Kotturpuram, Chennai. The exam was written by 8.03 lakh people, and 94.03 percent of them passed.


In Tamil Nadu, the Plus Two examination was held from March 13 to April 3 at 3,324 examination centres across the state.

A total of 8.65 lakh candidates including 8,36,593 school students, 23,747 private candidates, 5,206 differently-abled, 6 third gender and 90 jail inmates had registered for the exam.

Following the completion of the exams, the process of correcting the answer sheets written by students was carried out from April 10 to 21 at 79 centres located throughout Tamil Nadu.

The correction of answer sheets was completed and the marks of the students were uploaded subject-wise and the results were ready to be released.

School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi released the results of class 12 board exams at Anna library in Kotturpuram in Chennai today.

Out of this, 7,55,451 lakh students have cleared the exam written by 8.03 lakh candidates. The overall pass percentage is 94.03 per cent.

Of these, 4,05,753 (96.38%) were girls, 3,49,697 (91.45%) were boys and one was from the third gender.

This year too, as usual, girls have scored 4.93% more than boys. Virudhunagar district topped the list with 97 per cent pass percentage in district-wise pass percentage.
