Employees attack youth at liquor shop, video goes viral on social media

A youth was thrashed and taken away by shop staff at a bar in Tirupur. A drunkard's video of the incident has become popular on social media.



Tirupur: A video of a youth being thrashed by liquor shop employees for consuming liquor at Pushpa roundana college road junction in Tirupur has gone viral on social media.



In the video, the bar employees are seen first attacking with their hands, then attacking them with a lathi in their hands, strangling them and then dragging them away.



The footage was captured on the phone of a man who had gone there to have a drink. The video is currently becoming viral on social media.

While no complaint has been lodged at the police station in this regard, the video, which has surfaced on social media, has come as a shock.
