No proper drinking water supply near Coimbatore, people gathered at panchayat office

Anger over the non-supply of drinking water in the 11th ward of Theethipalayam panchayat next to Coimbatore, angry people led by ward councillor Manickaraj gathered at the panchayat office.


Coimbatore: In protest against the non-supply of drinking water in the 11th ward of Theethipalayam panchayat, the residents of the area gathered at the panchayat office.

Saravana Garden is located in the 11th ward of Theethipalayam panchayat in Coimbatore district. More than 200 families live in the area.

There has been no proper water supply for the last 15 days.

The residents of the area have filed a complaint with the panchayat office.

Because no action has been taken on the complaint so far, residents of the area gathered at the panchayat office under the leadership of 11th ward councillor Manickaraj.

In this situation, the president of the Theethipalayam panchayat held talks with the public.

They all dispersed on the promise of regular drinking water in the coming days. This led to a commotion at the panchayat office for some time.
