Coimbatore: Three women have lodged a complaint in Coimbatore alleging that they were being threatened with money by morphing their photographs.

In a shocking incident, three women have claimed that people running a private youtube with their private photos and videos are threatening them with money and threatening to kill them.

Kavitha from Trichy, Mumtaz from Chennai and Chitra from Coimbatore and a resident of Pondicherry were among the three women who jointly addressed the press in Coimbatore.

Then they spoke, the gang of five lured women through social media and platforms like YouTube. They get along well with them and make them fall into the trap.

Then they met them in person and installed spy cameras in their house without their knowledge. Through this, they take pictures and videos of women's private pictures and videos.

They also morphed the videos and sent them to them and threatened them with money. If they refuse to pay, they upload the videos on their own YouTube sites and send it to many people and threaten them.

We have lodged a complaint with the police. Since no action has been taken so far, we are going to meet a prominent lawyer in Coimbatore and file a case in connection with the incident.

Kavitha, a woman, attempted suicide twice due to the activities of people who have been issuing constant threats and uploading private pictures on YouTube.

Not only themselves but many women have also been affected in this act. Therefore, the police should take strict action against these persons who are sexually harassing them impartially. Thus they said.
