Search for missing 12-year-Old-Girl intensifies in Ondipudur, Coimbatore - two special squads formed

The police have intensified their inquiry by using CCTV footage of the girl who was last seen in the bus from Ondipudur to Ukkadam. Furthermore, if any information is received about the girl, it has been requested to inform the police immediately.


Coimbatore: Sudhakaran resides in Thippe Goundan Street in Ondipudur, Coimbatore. He is survived by his wife Sasikala (38). He is a school teacher. They have two children. Her eldest daughter Srinidhi (12) is studying in Class 7 in a private school.

Since it is summer vacation now, it appears that Srinidhi was playing with her younger brother near the house as usual yesterday. At that time, the girl who was playing went missing from the spot. The girl's father, who came to know about this, informed Sasikala about her daughter's disappearance.

Later, as the girl could not be found despite searching all over the surrounding areas, her parents lodged a missing complaint with the Coimbatore East all-women police station.

Police opened an investigation after receiving a complaint from the girl's parents. Two special teams have been formed to look for the missing 12-year-old child.

The girl's relatives have also released her photo and identities on social media, asking for the public's assistance. They have noted the parents' phone numbers and asked them to contact them immediately if they see the girl.

In a major twist to the missing case, the police have collected CCTV footage of the missing girl boarding a bus from Ondipudur bus stand to Ukkadam. Following this, the Special Cell police have intensified the investigation using cctv footage.

What happened to the little girl who was playing in front of the house? Is she missing? The police are investigating various angles such as, they are searching for the girl at important places like railway stations and bus stands.
