As the results of the Plus One examination were released today, 90.93 percent of students in Tamil Nadu passed the exam. Of these, 995 have scored 100 per cent marks in accountancy and 940 in computer science.
Chennai: As many as 90.93% of students have passed the plus one exam, which is supposed to be held today.
Tamil Nadu conducted class 10, plus 1 and plus 2 public exams in March and April. The results of the Plus Two examination were declared on May 8.
Following this, the results of the Class 10 board exams were released this morning (May 19), followed by the results of the plus one public exam at 2 p.m.
A total of 90.93 % students have passed the exam. Also, 7,549 schools have scored 100 per cent pass percentage.
Students can view their mark sheets using their registration number and date of birth on the websites of the department of government examinations, http://www.tnresults.nic.in/ and http://www.dge.tn.gov.in/.
The information has also been provided through SMS to the pupils' mobile phone numbers.
A large number of students have scored 100 per cent marks in various subjects in the Plus One public examination.
As a result, 9 candidates in Tamil, 13 in English, 440 in Physics, 107 in Chemistry, 65 in Biology, 17 in Mathematics, 2 in Botany, 34 in Zoology, and 940 in Computer Science, 214 in commerce, 995 in accountancy, 40 in economics, 598 in computer application, and 132 in business mathematics and statistics have all received a perfect score.
