Rajiv Gandhi Death Anniversary - Congress workers paid floral tributes in Coimbatore

Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's portrait was garlanded in Coimbatore on the occasion of his 32nd death anniversary. Coimbatore Corporation councillor from ward 5, G V Naveen Kumar and several others from the Congress party were present on the occasion.


Coimbatore: On the occasion of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's death anniversary, coimbatore corporation's fifth ward councillor G V Naveen Kumar presided over the function and garlanded his portrait at Vilankurichi.



At that time, an anti-terrorism pledge was taken and breakfast was also provided to the sanitation workers.

Congress leaders Saravanampatti Raghuraman, Vilavai Gopal, Murugesan, Sundarasamy, Kalaiselvan, Vivekanandan, Muruganantham Marudhachalam, Venkatesh Mani, Rangasamy, Balu Manimaran, Murali Krishnan, Suresh Ponnusamy, Duraisamy Pattilingam and others were present on the occasion.



Similarly, on the occasion of the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, a blood donation camp was organised by the Coimbatore North District Youth Congress.



The occasion was presided over by Coimbatore North district Youth Congress president Akash and was led by councillor G V Naveen Kumar.

Coimbatore North District Congress Committee president V M C Manoharan inaugurated the blood donation camp.
