Grievance day meeting held in Coimbatore - People gather with petitions

The public presented 60 memorandums to Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar at the Public Grievances Day meeting held (23.05.2023) at the Head Office of Coimbatore Corporation. After receiving the petitions, the Mayor directed the concerned authorities to take appropriate action.

Coimbatore: Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar has directed the officials to take appropriate action on the petitions submitted by the public at the public grievances day meeting held at coimbatore corporation.

Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar presided over the public grievances day meeting held at the main office of coimbatore corporation today (23.05.2023). Deputy Mayor Vetriselvan and Deputy Commissioner Dr. M. Sharmila were present at the meeting.



During the meeting, 60 petitions were presented to the Mayor, including various demands for basic amenities including birth and death certificates, road facility, electric lights, drinking water facilities, underground sewerage, industrial tax, property tax, vacancy tax, new water connection, name change, medical, health, education etc.



After receiving the petitions, Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar urged the concerned Zonal Assistant Commissioners, Engineers, and officials to take appropriate action on the petitions as soon as possible.
