Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Thirukkovil Vaikasi Visaka Therottam held in a grand manner in Tirupur

The Vaikasi Visakha car festival at Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple in Tiruppur commenced with the hoisting of the national flag on The 27th. Following this, special abishek pujas were performed to Lord Veeraraghava Perumal yesterday. Perumal graced the devotees in the Garuda Vahanam along with the mothers of Sridevi and Bhumidevi with special decorations.

On behalf of the Tirupur Corporation administration, the members of the Corporation led by Mayor Dinesh Kumar took out a procession from the corporation office to bring the items from the corporation office.



On behalf of the temple administration, the mayor, commissioner, deputy mayor and councillors were accorded the first respects by welcoming the items.



Following this, Corporation Mayor Dinesh Kumar pulled Thiruther by the cord and inaugurated the thiruveedhi tour.



Following this, the worshippers pulled the car's strings and dragged it along the road.



In front of the sri veeraraghava perumal temple car, the devotees came with kummi attam, kolattam, salangai tied to the feet, kambathu aattam, kavadi aattam and other rituals. 





Along the way, a large number of devotees enjoyed watching the chariot.
