Coimbatore Forest Department distributes saplings at free of cost to the public!

On behalf of the Coimbatore District Forest Department, it has been announced that under the Green Tamil Nadu Mission, the people of Coimbatore district will be provided saplings at free of cost for planting various saplings including teak, chavukku, puliyan, pungan, amla, and so on during the year 2023-24.

Coimbatore: The forest department has announced that saplings will be distributed at free of cost to the people of Coimbatore district.

Under the Green Tamil Nadu Mission of the Government of Tamil Nadu, the Coimbatore District Forest Department will be providing saplings at free of cost for planting during the year 2023-24 on behalf of the Coimbatore Forestry Extension Division.

Through this, various varieties of saplings including saplings, teak, savukku, puliyan, pungan and amla will be distributed to the public.

Accordingly, the Advertising Circle of Coimbatore Forestry Extension Division, the saplings are produced and maintained through the nursery at Mathampalayam, Coimbatore.
