Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar Chairs Grievance Day meeting at Coimbatore Corporation Main Office

On Tuesday, the Corporation People's Grievance Day meeting was held at Coimbatore Municipal Corporation Head Office under the leadership of Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar. Over 41 people submitted their petitions to the mayor for resolution.

Coimbatore: On Tuesday, the Corporation People's Grievance Day meeting was held at the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation Head Office, led by Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar. Municipal Corporation Commissioner M. Prathap IAS, Deputy Mayor Vetrichelvan, and Municipal Deputy Commissioner K. Sivakumar presided over the meeting.

There were 41 petitions submitted from all areas of the Corporation limits. 



These include public birth and death certificates, road amenities, energy, housing, sewerage, business tax, property tax, vacancies, and new residential connections.  

Petitions with numerous demands for essential utilities such as a name change, medical, health, and education were received.  



Out of these, 10 petitions were submitted in the eastern zone, 3 petitions in the western zone, 41 petitions in the northern zone, 6 petitions in the southern zone, 11 petitions in the central zone, and 5 petitions in the main office.

Following the petitions, Mayor Kalpana ordered the concerned Zonal Assistant Commissioners, Engineers and Officers to immediately take appropriate action on these petitions.
