Medical camp for sanitation workers held in Valparai

Around 65 municipal sanitation workers are working at this stage. They are cleaning all the drinking water areas soaked in the hill due to the rains. This puts them at risk of getting infected.



Coimbatore: Due to the prevailing weather conditions in Valparai area of Coimbatore district, it is raining in the morning. It's sunny in the afternoon. Moreover, due to the cold at night, the general public is suffering from diseases like fever and headache.

Around 65 municipal sanitation workers are working at this stage. They are cleaning all the drinking water areas soaked in the hill due to the rains. This puts them at risk of getting infected.



Due to this, a medical camp was held on behalf of the municipality for the sanitation workers.



The medical camp was held under the leadership of city council president Alagusundaravalli.



Medical doctor and Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam at the camp were treated and tested for sanitation workers and municipal staff in the municipality.

In this test, medicines were given to diagnose headaches, fever, blood pressure, diabetes, etc.



More than 100 people benefited from this camp.
