Bakery worker electrocuted to death in Coimbatore's Sivananda Colony

Muthukani (39) hails from Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district. He was living with his wife and infants in Rathinapuri area of Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: Muthukani (39) hails from Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district. He was living with his wife and infants in Rathinapuri area of Coimbatore.

Muthukani was working in a bakery in Sivananda Colony area. The power supply in the area has been suspended since morning for monthly maintenance work on Saturday.

Due to this, electricity was supplied through the generator. In this situation, when there was a sudden power supply in the evening, the connection from the generator to direct electricity was changed.



He was electrocuted and died on the spot. Rathinapuri police are investigating the incident.
