J. Iswarya, the daughter of a Nagapattinam fisherman, has achieved an incredible feat. She has won 14 gold medals in Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) from Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University. This remarkable accomplishment has been met with accolades from many sources, including a congratulatory tweet from Sadhguru himself.

Ishwarya completed the course with a CGPA of 90%. "I studied under the fishermen quota and was sponsored by the Tamil Nadu Fishermen Welfare Board," she stated after collecting medals and a citation from R.N.Ravi, Governor-Chancellor of the institution, at the convocation. "I qualified through an entrance exam and joined this course," she explained.
She is now enrolled in the Masters of Fisheries Science (M.F. Sc.) programme at the Central Institute of Fisheries Education.
