DMK City Corporation handed over 110 Bedsheets to Valparai Disaster Rescue Team

Valparai in Coimbatore district has been receiving heavy and intense rains since the month of June, resulting in a flood alert being issued to the general public. In order to ensure public safety, 110 personnel from disaster response teams have arrived in the municipality and are currently residing in the Valparai municipality marriage hall.

On behalf of the DMK city corporation, the municipal administration furnished them with the basic necessities and 110 bedsheets.

City secretary Sudhakar, city council vice-president Senthil, fourth ward member J Bhaskar, former city council president Kozhikadai Ganesan Manikandan, Jyothi, Ashok and others were present at the event.
