CCTV footage of a government bus colliding with a car

A government bus was on its way to town hall from Devarayapuram near Thondamuthur in Coimbatore when it hit head on against a car.


Coimbatore: A government bus was on its way to town hall from Devarayapuram near Thondamuthur in Coimbatore. The bus was being driven by a driver named Murugavel.



In this situation, the car which was coming towards Madampatti in the opposite direction near Vedapatti collided head-on with the bus in the blink of an eye.

Subramani, a fruit vendor, was also injured when the bus rammed into him during the accident.



Gopishankar, a resident of Thenamanallur, who was driving the car, was seriously injured in the accident.



Following this, the people of the area rescued Gopi Shankar and fruit vendor Subramani and sent them to coimbatore government hospital for treatment.

Vadavalli police station police, who came to know about the incident, rushed to the spot and removed the vehicles involved in the accident and registered a case and are investigating.

Meanwhile, a shocking CCTV footage of the accident has now been released.
