Coimbatore: Puthiya Tamizhagam held a state-wide protest demanding complete prohibition in Tamil Nadu on Saturday. As part of this, the Puthiya Tamizhagam activists of Coimbatore district staged a protest in front of the TASMAC shop opposite the Singanallur bus stand.

More than 30 people participated in the protest and came to gherao the TASMAC shop, raising slogans demanding complete prohibition. The police stopped them and arrested them and took them away.



At that time, puthiya Tamizhagam activists threw liquor on the road and raised slogans demanding complete prohibition. This led to a tense situation in the area for some time.
