City council vice-president gives chairs to anganwadi centres in Valparai

T.M. Senthilkumar, vice-president of the town council, handed over 40 chairs to anganwadi workers so that children studying at anganwadi centres in Kamarajar Nagar, Anna Nagar, and Nadumalai estates near Valparai would not have to sit on the floor.


Coimbatore: T M Senthilkumar, vice-president of the Valparai City Council, handed over chairs to anganwadi centres.

There are 40 children studying in anganwadi centres functioning in Kamarajar Nagar, Anna Nagar and Nadumalai estates under Valparai municipality in Coimbatore district.



T M Senthilkumar, 11th ward town council member and city council vice-president, provided plastic seats (chairs) to 40 children, so that the children do not get bogged down on the ground as it is raining in Valparai area.

In the presence of 4th ward town council member J Bhaskar and office-bearers, T M Senthilkumar handed over the seats to the anganwadi centre in-charges.
