Construction of drains, irradiation platform in Jothiyampatti Panchayat, overhead tank being constructed under 15th Finance Commission Grant Scheme, Extension of drinking water to individual households, kitchen building, two classrooms and other infrastructure development projects have been initiated.
Development works at a cost of Rs.96 lakhs has been initiated under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme under All India Anna Marumalarchi Thittam at Venggipalayam in Sooryanallur Panchayat under Kundadam Panchayat Union in Tirupur District.
Construction of drains, irradiation platform in Jothiyampatti Panchayat, overhead tank being constructed under 15th Finance Commission Grant Scheme, Extension of drinking water to individual households, kitchen building, two classrooms under potholes infrastructure development project at Idayapatti in Kokkampalayam Panchayat, kitchen building works, Check dams constructed under Mahatma National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in Nandavanampalayam Panchayath, District Collector T Christuraj inspected the ongoing development works at a cost of Rs.96.06 lakhs in panchayats, including kitchen buildings being constructed in the primary school. He directed the officials to complete the works at the earliest and put them to public use.
In Vadachinaripalayam, Kungarupalayam and Sengodampalayam panchayats, Kalaignar inspected the application registration centre of the Women's Rights Scheme.
Dharapuram RTO Senthil Arasan, Kundadam Block Development Officers Venkatesh Kumar and Suresh Kumar, Dharapuram Tahsildar Jagajothi, and other officials of the department were present during the inspection.
