TPDK general secretary K Ramakrishnan said that an all-party human chain will be organised to protest against the BJP for creating riots in Manipur.
Coimbatore: Thanthai Periyar Dravida Kazhagam general secretary K Ramakrishnan has announced that an all-party protest will be held in Coimbatore to protest against the BJP for creating the riots in Manipur.

A meeting of Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam was held at Gandhipuram in Coimbatore.

Speaking to reporters, Thanthai Periyar Dravida Kazhagam general secretary K Ramakrishnan said,

The BJP, which is ruling India, and Modi, who is the prime minister, have created riots between two communities and communities in Manipur, where the elections were counted for their political gains and remained silent.
This activity has been carried to a level that did not happen even in the freedom struggle. The riots that erupted over the vote in one seat of Parliament have now turned against the BJP in more than 500 parliamentary constituencies.
The central government in Tamil Nadu is doing various diversionary work to hide the news of the Manipur riots. In particular, the SDPI carried out searches at the party office and the residences of the leaders. This has again triggered a riot in Tamil Nadu.
In this situation, in order to take the situation of riots in Manipur to the people, we will continue to hold protests on behalf of all parties condemning the BJP. In the next four days, a human chain protest is planned to be held in Coimbatore."
