He said that he would soon hold football matches in Coimbatore by merging all the clubs. He said that he has formulated various action plans to identify talented young footballers in Coimbatore district and make Coimbatore district one of the best football sports hubs in Tamil Nadu. Moreover, in coimbatore district, talented players who are in poor positions in rural areas have been identified during the student period itself.
The District Football Association has now made an effort to make them state and national level players. He expressed confidence that coimbatore players will definitely be part of the teams participating in national and international football tournaments in the future.
