Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, who addressed the Tamil Nadu Start-up Thiruvizha, which began yesterday at the Codissia campus in Coimbatore through video conferencing, said he promised to make Tamil Nadu a state suitable for startups.
Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin said through video conferencing at a start-up festival here that the state will be made a state suitable for new startups and industries.
The Tamil Nadu Start-up Thiruvizha is being held at Codissia Auditorium in Coimbatore. 450 halls have been set up. In it, 100 women entrepreneurs' stalls have been set up. A large number of new technological innovations have been showcased.
The function was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister T M Anbarasan. Later speaking on the occasion, Minister T M Anbarasan said that this Start Up festival will be held in all zones. It is new inventions that govern the world.
Tamil Nadu has moved up from the last place to the 3rd position in the creation of new creations. In these two years alone, 8,98,000 people have been given refresher training. Various schemes are being implemented to develop start-ups as companies.
For the first time in India, Tamil Nadu has provided facilities to 28 micro clusters. Foundation stone has been laid for the construction of a new Industrial Estate in 325.64 acres and the work has commenced. The Chief Minister also feels that there should be a balanced industrial development across Tamil Nadu.
In Tamil Nadu, the start-up programme is being conducted by dividing it into 5 zones. The Government is providing funds to set up new start-ups in Tamil Nadu. The amount of funds is increasing year after year. It started at Rs 5 lakh and has gone up to 15 lakhs.
We have reduced the problem of acquiring business ownership. Starting a new website, they are providing speed and speed. We are building buildings to start apartment industries. 80% of the work has been completed. Work is in progress for 4 Industrial Estates in Coimbatore.
