The Nilgiris: The Tamil Nadu government is implementing various special schemes such as home-seeking education, people's search for medicine, breakfast scheme, etc.

On behalf of the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department in Ulikkal Examination Level Town Panchayat area of The Nilgiris District, the Anaipallam Road, which was developed at a cost of Rs.50 lakh under the Integrated Urban Development Programme 2019-2020 at The CSI High School, Nonsuch, was constructed at a cost of Rs.50 lakhs. Minister Ramachandran inaugurated for the use of the public various development projects completed at a total cost of Rs 63 lakh, including the cement road completed at a total cost of Rs 63 lakh from highways main road to Vellalamattam at a cost of Rs 13 lakh under the 2022-2023-15th Grants Commission scheme.

He then ate the food served to the children at the school and inspected it. He also said that under the 2022-2023 Urban Roads Development Project at a cost of Rs 2.23 crore, from Muthanad Roll Level to Bhavani, from Panati Division to Iruttu Shola, Kolakombai to Muthanadu under The Tamil Nadu Urban Road Infrastructure Project. He inaugurated the road development works from Druk to Nansach Tea Factory at a cost of Rs 1.83 crore at a total cost of Rs 4.06 crore. At Chengalpudur, he personally inspected the ongoing construction of anganwadi centre building at a cost of Rs.17.50 lakh under mla constituency development fund scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Ramachandran said that Chief Minister M K Stalin has formulated various schemes for the benefit of the public and is implementing them in a better manner. In particular, the Government of Tamil Nadu is implementing various special schemes such as Home Search Education, People's Search Medical, Breakfast Scheme, etc.

He said that development projects are being carried out at various places including town panchayats and panchayats so that the basic amenities of the public are given priority and the works are taken up.
