Annual day celebrations at Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science.  


Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science (SKACAS), Kovaipudur, Coimbatore today celebrated its second College Annual Day function at its campus. Kalaimamani Dr.Ilasai Sundaram, Former Director of All India Radio, Madurai was the Chief Guest and he addressed the students. In his address he said “Everyone should strive to achieve remarkable positions in life.  It is not easy to get success. We have to struggle, face and overcome challenges and obstacles in order to succeed in life.”



He also said that everyone should do everything creatively and innovatively and look out for something different. He added that the present day youth have analytical and critical skills, gain all these skills and use for the definite purposes. He advised the students to never underestimate and nurture self confidence to face all the situations. The chief guest also told the students that they have to dream high and reach top levels in the life. He advised the students to follow ethics in their life and insisted that it is responsibility of the students to protect their grandparents and parents.



The chief guest distributed the prizes and certificates to the students and faculties for having achieved in the academic and cultural activities. 

The event also witnessed honouring the faculties research scholars and students who presented research articles in various national and international seminars, workshops and conferences and had the same published in research journals. The college conducted various competitions for the entire college students on the eve of college day. 

The overall championship went to Commerce department and the second position was secured by the Mathematics department.



Dr. K.Sundararaman, CEO of the institutions presided over the programme and delivered the presidential address. Dr.V.Radhika, Principal presented the college day report. Prof.Dr.Priya, Head of the department of Commerce welcomed the gathering and Prof. D.Sema Dev Aksatha proposed the vote of thanks.
