Axis Redefined 2.0 with them on 'Digital India- Future Perspective and Challenges hosted by Bharathiar School of Management Entrepreneur Development

Axis Redefined 2.0, a flagship event of the Bharathiar School of Management Entrepreneur Development was hosted on the theme 'Digital India- Future Perspective and Challenges'. Dr Ajoy Mathew welcomed the gathering. S M Shankar, Founder President of Alumni Association highlighted the modus operandi of Axis Redefined which was framed with two technical sessions with live presentation from management professionals and the students played four different management games.



Dr K Vivekanandan, Director BSMED delivered the presidential address and emphasised on the role of digital economy. “The modern world problems cannot be solved using 20th century technology. As India has a large pool of knowledge workers, it has got a greater role to play at the global level.” he said.

Dr A Ganapathy, Vice Chancellor of Bharathiar University inaugurated the programme and emphasized that Alumni association must be formed at the university level and should be organised in a big way in the forth coming years so that the intercalation with corporate and outside world will be sustainable. He appreciated the efforts of BSMED for successfully hosting this event for the last 13 years.



Following the inauguration two speakers delivered their address on digitization and small business and the ill effects of using a mobile phone. In the valedictory function Dr Mahalingam welcomed the gathering. The winners of the management events and games were awarded with prizes.

Dr S Sankaranarayanan was felicitated for the services that he has rendered to the students' community at BSMED. Dr G Sridharan delivered the vote of thanks.
