SP Velumani, Minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development was here in the city to formally announce MLA Amman K Arjunan as the District Secretary of AIADMK, Coimbatore. Previously, MLA PRG Arunkumar was the District Secretary of Coimbatore but following his support to O. Panneerselvam, he was terminated from his post.
Minister SP Velumani when addressing the press said, 'Around 180 crores have been allotted as relief fund for farmers who are struck in drought in the district of Coimbatore. Out of which, 100 crores will be distributed to farmers who sustained losses due to cultivation of coconut trees'.
He also apprised that, 'TTV Dhinakaran will win with 50,000 votes ahead of other contestants. And, that only if AIADMK wins Amma's people welfare scheme can be carried out smoothly'.
'DMK is always an enemy to us and hence all AIADMK party cadres should work as one strong force and aid in the victory of TTV Dhinakaran in RK Nagar Constituency' Minister SP Velumani said.
