Chief Minister E Palaniswami declares open new collectorate this morning


This morning, Chief Minister E Palaniswami declared open new collectorate in our city. This new building we are told has been constructed at a total cost of Rs 20.18-crores. Several ministers including Girija Vaidyanathan, the new Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore district collector T. N. Hariharan, S. P. Velumani is an Indian politician and incumbent Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu from Thondamuthur constituency, MLA Amman K Arjun, Coimbatore city police commissioner, A Amalraj, Deputy Commissioner of Police - Traffic, Coimbatore S. Saravanan among members and loyalists of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK)  party participated in this inauguration function.

Several members of the fourth estate and party workers gathered in large numbers creating a traffic jam on this stretch. Thus, the routine work of the government officials working in this campus was impacted. Having inaugurated this Coimbatore District Police Superintendent Office, the CM moved to CODISSIA trade complex.
